STEPs
to Surviving Prostate Cancer is a six week series designed to help participants understand the physical  and emotional changes accompanying prostate cancer and to promote the healing process. The classes are designed for the man with prostate cancer and those individuals involved in his support. The classes are sponsored by the Prostate Cancer Resource Center (within the Klabzuba Tower at Texas Health Harris Methodist) and are free. Topics of discussion include Anatomy and Physiology, Information and Resources, Communication Skills, Treatment Options, Diet and Nutrition, Side Effects of Treatments, Life after Prostate Cancer. The program is offered twice a year.
